A Georgia daycare center worker taped shoving a toddler with her foot may be responsible for other disturbing behavior, says WSBTV.
Police in Clayton County arrested Alexis Wilson-Britten, 22, and charged her with simple battery after viewing a video of the teacher kicking a child who was under her care. According to Robert Phelps, the owner of Kids R Kids Day Care, Wilson-Britten was scheduled to be fired the same day the incident occurred for inappropriate behavior in a separate incident.
As disturbing as the footage is, it appears this isn’t the only incident involving the young woman. Phelps confirmed to CBS46 that there had been a previous incident in which Wilson-Britten taped a pacifier to the mouth of a crying child. On another occasion, the young woman failed to report a child that had fallen on the playground and broken his arm.
As you might imagine, Wilson-Britten no longer works at the daycare center. Police say she has no criminal record, and that the victims of her abuse are fine.
